OPTIMAS™
(Operational Training and Information Management Applications Software)

Does your mill need to manage and track the training process for groups or individuals?

OPTIMAS™ is a computerized document and training management system that provides access to training guidelines, assignments, documentation, and procedures.

OPTIMAS™
is an "electronic warehouse" for all your training materials. Training requirements for all job positions and corporate initiatives are located in one place, allowing users to retrieve information from any networked computer.

OPTIMAS™ launches computer-based lessons and displays existing training and reference materials on-line across departments, the site, or the corporation. It accepts most electronic file formats, so you can import existing Word docs, multimedia files, graphics, CAD, SOPs, checklists, and P&IDs.

OPTIMAS™ users can train for jobs, check their training status, check off completed tasks, and manage their progress. Administrators can print reports to validate training status for individuals or groups.

OPTIMAS™ trainers can add to, delete, or modify any editable training materials, as needed. Trainers can also disseminate policies, OJT assignments and other information on-line.

OPTIMAS™ administrators can design curricula for individuals or job positions. Files can be modified in their native programs, then imported for viewing on-line and easy updating of controlled documents.

OPTIMAS™ features

Reference Resource
Organize material by department with up to four (4) sublevel topic areas

Insert bookmarks to make returning to information easier

Training Resource
Access training materials in a self-study environment from any network location

Launch computer-based lessons, checklists, external lessons--anything required for training
activities

Insert quizzes at strategic locations to gauge trainee understanding of material
Course Training
Enable trainees to identify training assignments and launch materials needed for completion

Provides up-to-the-minute records on training progress for planning training activities and timely
assignment completion
Qualification System
Complete certification assignments required for training from any networked computer
Document Manager
Review any procedure stored in the system

Track procedure revisions (the most recent is always in OPTIMAS™)
